Providing information about Privacy to clients


  • Clients must be able to easily obtain information about both your and Manulife’s privacy policies and practices. Manulife Financial – Canadian Division Statement of Privacy Principles and Practices are available at
    • Clients may also contact Manulife directly for this information, by calling any one of our Customer Service Centres.
  • The information must be made available in a form that is generally understandable. The information available should include:
    • Information on privacy policies and practices;
    • A description of the type of personal information held and a general account of its use;
    • Details on who may have access to the personal information;
    • Information on how they may access their information, or correct any inaccuracies;
    • Information on how they make inquiries or lodge complaints.
